Canova in Bremen

Super nice location and has a great atmosphere. The prices are okay, for the money the guest gets a delicious breakfast and a decent portion. The staff was very friendly. There are not too many seats, if in doubt it is better to call and reserve. All in all it was great.

The Canova has a beautiful location in the ramparts and a pleasant ambience. The service is ok. The dishes taste like that. A bit bland at times but ok. The prices e.g. for lunch, the cheapest option with a small soup or dessert, are already ambitiously high at 12 € for a lunch menu.

We were a little disappointed after our visit. The food was undoubtedly good, but not very good. The products themselves were of good quality, also deliciously presented, but unfortunately served a tad too cold. But our main criticism is the price, which is just too high, also in relation to the size of the portions.

3.40 for an Americano coffee, 3.60 for a cappuccino and 6 euros for a relatively cute piece of apple pie with cream - in the world capital Bremen. I don't have to have it again, even if the quality is right.

Delicious breakfast, nice service. Unfortunately our reservation was forgotten, but we got a cat table after all. When ordering, a few things were also forgotten (more cappuccino, o juice).

I was here for a wedding in August 2020 (Karo). The service was absolutely excellent and authentically friendly and you felt welcome as a guest at all times. The quality of the wedding menu was very good, so the conclusion: I can only recommend a visit without any flaws. Viewed honestly and critically.

Central location in the Kunsthalle Bremen, between the city center and the quarter / Ostertor. Excellent breakfast, lots of homemade ingredients, nice staff, dogs also welcome, highly recommended!

I mostly didn't want to share the dessert with my sister at all. We have learned from this for the future and everyone will order a dessert next time. I can really recommend this restaurant! The restaurant is easy to reach! The favorable transport connection makes a visit promptly possible. Not only the nice staff was the total bestseller when I visited, but also the unique flair.

Two of us were there for breakfast a week. Very tasty and highly recommended. Clearly not the cheapest in terms of price but you also get something for your money. Will be happy to come back again, service very friendly so it should be :)

The location of the restaurant is great, as is the food. The female waitress is also very friendly and attentive. The waiter, on the other hand, does the impossible for a good service that can be expected in this price range! Of course, the restaurant is full on Saturday at 6 p.m. So it cannot be too much. At first our table was not free, the drinks menu came very late on request. My companion was instructed to let him speak so that he could explain a dish to her. The two of the five main courses that we wanted to order were no longer available. That would happen very quickly. So is that more likely? No question was asked whether the food was right or if we wanted anything else, and there was no response to the wave. We sat long in front of the empty plates and did not eat dessert and espresso. When we were allowed to charge the bill, we had to wait until the gentleman had cleared the neighboring tables and set them up again.

Very high-quality, local, regional ingredients that, when put together in an exceptionally good composition, result in a perfect meal. Every course was special and extremely delicious. Not to be neglected is the particularly beautiful atmosphere and the very competent and pleasant service. I do not understand why the Canova is not fully booked for months. The prices are high, but reasonable for the performance. We look forward to the next visit!

Cake -very small and not fresh Latte macchiato - very good but not in a glass Ginger tee - not fresh ginger at all... Friendly staff but the boss seems to be very stressed...

Excellent tastes. A little bit higher end. The 4 course menu is a must try. Local wines are exquisite. Its behind an art gallery, so finding it, you should walk around. Lavender ice cream shocked me, in a good way of course :) and my favourite, the sea food risotto...

We were on the City for 2 issue tonight at Canova. At the same time there was a wedding party on site, which we already said on the phone at the reservation. The service was more than excellent and you had the feeling as if you knew each other and yet the work was very professional. The 3 course menu (1 time meat and once fish) was outstanding. High praise to the kitchen and service. Keep it up.

Nice restaurant, delicious food ?

Nice atmosphere with outdoor seating in the evening sun. Nice menu, but unfortunately we left after not getting served for about 30 minutes..

High end food with a beautiful view without being pretentious. I had an "appetizer" of Schwertmuschel/Atlantic jackknife clam and chanterelle. The menu was filled with seasonal chanterelle dishes. I wrote appetizer in quotation marks because it was as large as the other people's entrees. I'd neither seen nor tasted Atlantic jackknife before, so it was interesting to try it out. For the record: the shell looks like part of a bamboo stalk and the meat has a texture more like squid than most bivalves. For the quantity of food we got, it was definitely well-balanced/
